Education
We’re quite serious about reflecting about our faith and
life here at CPC. After service, you
will often find folks talking about the sermon or about something going on in
their life… .wondering where God might be found around and among us.
Check out how our
children, youth and adult "wonder” about and explore their faith.
Children
Each week, our children have their own time at 11am to
discuss their faith and life. Their
conversations cover a wide variety of stories from the scriptures and from
people’s real life stories of faith and life.
They have a chance to explore different cultures and manners of
expressing faith through projects, cooking, creating and working on their own
outreach endeavors.
Youth
Our youth meet each Sunday during Christian Education hour
to discuss faith and life in ways that are appropriate and meaningful to
them.
They also have begun a
relationship with Urban Promise as their own outreach project. In any given month, you’ll find our youth
playing and working in equal parts.
Adults
Small groups are a great way to continue those discussions
about faith and life. They’re also a
great way to develop relationships and care for one another.
In addition to weekly Christian Education hour at 11am each
Sunday, we have a Meditation group that meets monthly, a contemporary issues
group that meets twice/month, a book club that meets twice/month and women’s
bible study that meets weekly. Some meet
in homes, some at church.
